What To Do If Your Pc Date & Time keeps Resetting Every Time You Reboot You Computer…

I faced this challenge for over  two weeks or more  in my organization and I personally think it will be nice to share my idea and solution among some other computer users and IT admins in the field.  This problem might seems kind easy but trust me it kept me rounding all desk at start of each day to update time and date.

If you really want to know what i’m talking, I want you to visualized your PC resetting two years back, this means that all incoming mails and message wouldn’t be found  easily were they supposed to be,  and this would apparently lead to reduced efficacy in organizational performance, hence most works will repeated report that they didn’t see the mail, memo, message or job order as the case might be.  This was actually how serious it was in my case and organization.  …the pc date & time keeps resetting every time I reboot the computer…

Now the funny part is that at first I thought it was the Cmos battery, but then I’ve replaced the cmos battery with two different new ones, configured the time by placing the jumper over pin 2 & 3…detached every wire in the cpu, cleaned the cabinet properly and attached them carefully and tightly..I’ve tried setting the date & time by pressing F2 and entering bios setup..performed full pc scan in safe mode with MALWAREBYTE’S ANTI MALWARE…fixed the registry with registrybooster…the timezone is also correct…but still the date and time changes on every reboot…

From the scenario above I guess you must have seen hoe frustrating this has being. The solution to this is very simple but I didn’t note it until I thought of it finally.

I was like these computers are in domain being control by a server so if the time on the server is not correct it might be affecting these other client computers. I was like wow could this be the answer to this problem?. So then I went to the server and as I presume the date and time was wrong, finally I reset the date and time and instantly together it corrected all other systems date and time automatically without me manually doing it on individual computers anymore
