-Routing Protocol Configurations.

This post is a continuation on  Cisco CLI Prompts, I want say, before configuring  routing protocols like RIP and IGRP, onw should also get use to the prompts.

 

If that is what you want to do right now…use the following prompt (configrouter)#.

Router#config t

 

Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with

CNTL/Z.

Router(config)#router rip

Router(config-router)#

 

Note: It is not important that you understand what each of these commands does at this time since we are just at the basic configuration protocols.

 

Simply try as much as possible to understand the different prompts available on your Cisco router.
