For instance an application may occasionally run out of memory. Meanwhile same repeatation of application crashing may possibly be a sign of bad or corrupt file.
Windows update failure: This seems to be an interesting one, but trust me it is the most common computer system security issues occurrence and also most simple to fix. If your siting on a computer and this happens it means that the state of the computer has changed. This is 80% cause by virus. Simply remove it by scanning the computer system for infections and remove them.
Rough antivirus: this is a very sneaky that can cause dangerous trouble to a computer system if the user carries out the command issues by the attacker. The method involves designing a rough antivirus application window that looks like it is legitimate antivirus solution. If a user follows the instruction they trick to a risk of downloading a slew of malware. This can be solved by blocking pops and unsafe site.
Email issues : I previously made a post on general email configuration (you can read more on email configuration here). If you are experiencing changes on your email such like excess or large number of spam mail, or finding out that there emails sent from an account that the email account was not aware of, you should that the computer’s security has being jeopardized.
Here are email specific issues to be aware of :
Spam is an email based threat where users inbox is filled with or flooded with emails which acts as vehicles to deliver advertising materials for product and promotions and get rich quick schemes can use it sometimes to deliver virus or even malware . spam can harbor malicious codes in addition to filling up your box. Spam can also be utilized within social networking sites.
Hijacked email is an account that has being access by attacker and it being used by an attacker to send and receive emails. In most corporate firms hijacked email can result on unauthorized data access.
Access denied : Access may be denied if system are unavailable or corrupted. The most common tips is when a user forget password or credentials. This is the reason why you must have a phone of system on ground to reset your password for users when appropriate.
Malicious software: once malicious software penetrates your system, numerous security issues can arise. The best solution to these problems is to prevent it on time, but where your system is already infected please isolate it from the network and clean it first using antivirus and security scanning tools before putting back to the network.
If your antivirus, anti spy-ware, and pop-up blocker’s protection are configured to be too restrictive, it is possible that users might not be able to load and run legitimate software. However, it is best to keep in mind that your security must be tight in this area and deal with exception on a case by case basis.
